Like Marie Rivier, let us be missionaries of compassion
May 25, 2016
The last day of our session filled us with hope, not because the end is near, but because we feel that everything is beginning anew.
We explored the roots of our mission of compassion : the Word of God and the charism of Marie Rivier. We welcomed this gift in a renewed way and now desire to make it grow, to bring it to life in today’s world, to make it known and to live it in our various areas of apostolate.
Also, our thirst is great to deepen what we have received, to share it and to become convinced and convincing witnesses, these witnesses that our world, our societies so badly need. During our closing celebration, this is truly what the delegates expressed as they voiced their commitment to live their mission of compassion.
We are filled with thanksgiving for the grace of this international encounter, this time lived together in contemplation of the mystery of the Pietà, close to our Lady of Fatima, Mother of compassion.
Like Marie Rivier, let us be missionaries of compassion.
